The first thing that caught my eye about Marbaloo was the statement on their team page – the statement resonated with who I am and who I would like to be surrounded by. I discovered public relations as a journalism major and along with my love of country music and social media, knew Marbaloo would be the perfect place to combine my passions. I love being surrounded by talented, creative and supportive people who truly enjoy what they do for a living.
What is your thing (Publicity, social media, marketing, design, photography, etc) and why?
My thing is social media! I not only love the creativity and connection that social media brings together, I like the aspect of learning and sharing about new places and products. Social media is constantly changing and never boring, so it’s always fun to wake up and see what’s new and what’s going on in the social world. I also think it’s so fascinating to see that people can make social media their day job or even how someone’s entire career can start off of a silly thing like Twitter!
Why do you do what you do?
I love being part of a creative team that makes things happen. When I was younger, the “behind the scenes” features on DVDs would fascinate me to no end. Seeing people come together to make someone’s dream and vision come alive made public relations and marketing a natural fit for me.
What inspires you?
Hearing about how people have successfully overcome difficult obstacles in their lives to become the best that they can be, and surrounding myself with creative people!
How do you like to spend your free time?
I spend the majority of my free time playing with my puppy! He’s 9 months old so he’s constantly hyper and full of energy which gets me outdoors and exploring Nashville!
What do you wish people knew about you?
Yes, I’m from California, no I don’t live next door to a celebrity
What’s your favorite saying?
“What if it doesn’t come true? Ah, but what if it does."
What do you do to recharge your creativity?
I’m a big book nerd, so I love to find a books that help spark the creative side in me.
What song can’t you stop playing right now?
La La Land by Bryce Vine and YG because it reminds me of home!
