Please join us in welcoming our new interactive intern, Kelsey Neville! Kelsey graduated from Robert Morris University with a degree in Business Administration with concentrations in Accounting and Marketing before bringing her talents to Nashville and enrolling in Belmont University’s MBA program. Kelsey’s hard work, sense of humor and love for reality television have made her an easy fit into the Marbaloo family. We’re so excited to have her on board! Welcome, Kelsey!
Hometown: Grand Blanc, MI
Why Marbaloo? First and foremost, the company culture is outstanding. Marbaloo consists of a group of people that actually genuinely like each other and that’s not easy to come by. I also love the creative and out of the box ideas that the team comes up with - they inspire me not to go with the status quo and continually dig to come up with the most innovative ideas.
What is your thing and why? Marketing is my passion. Originally, I loved it because it was a new outlet for me to draw upon my creativity in but throughout my studies it’s grown into so much more that that. It's become a norm for me to be reading case studies of how companies are handling all different aspects of their marketing strategy from branding to advertising.
Why do you do what you do? Someday when I grow up, I think I’d like to continue my journey in digital marketing. I really love brainstorming and watching as that magic turns into an actual strategy and is executed. I’m also very interested in the overall branding of artists as well as finding partnerships that makes sense for them.
What inspires you? Underdogs. I’m beyond inspired by people that by all means “shouldn’t” be as successful as they are but choose to never give up anyway. Their success stories, big or small, are inspiration to keep following my dreams of working in the music business.
How do you like to spend your free time? I love reality TV and listening to podcasts - especially any part of the Bachelor franchise. I also love spending time with my dog Minnie, trying out the never ending supply of new coffeeshops in Nashville, running and spending time with my friends/family.
What do you wish people knew about you? I'm constantly daydreaming about starting all sorts of side businesses. One of the most consistent ideas is a donut/coffee food truck that would be in the cutest vintage Shasta trailer anyone has ever seen.
What’s your favorite saying? If you can dream it, you can do it.
What do you do to recharge your creativity? Self-reflection is one of my favorite ways. When we sit down and take a look at how far we’ve come it’s much easier to feel inspired by our own journey. Also, lots and lots of Pinterest - after an hour on the platform I believe that I can make all sorts of woodwork and have my entire future wedding planned (minus the husband part, that's not that important right?)
What song can't you stop playing right now? Jersey on the Wall - I’m Just Asking - Tenille Townes
